BECOME A CASA VOLUNTEER
CASA for Children of Monmouth County is seeking individuals who may be interested in becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a child in foster care. Training classes are held two times a year. Advocates attend 30 hours of training before being sworn in by a Family Court Judge, enabling them to carry out case investigations and make recommendations about permanency for the child assigned to them. Additionally, CASA Cafés - seminars and workshops - are offered continually so that Advocates may elect to broaden their knowledge conveniently. CASA volunteers make a real difference in a child's life.
